Thank you for being here. This blog is something I’ve been meaning to start for quite some time—a long-overdue promise to myself to begin exploring the world of writing. My goal is to open a line of communication on topics I find myself pondering often.

First and foremost, I’m human. The thoughts I share here will be my own or inspired by others, but I hope to ground them in fact and thoughtful argument. My intention is not to present myself as an authority on every subject. Rather, I want to explore ideas, learn, and create dialogue.

Secondly, I’m a designer—specifically, of the architectural variant. With that comes certain preconceptions, but what I want to focus on in this creative space is a merging of what I’ve learned through education and what I’ve experienced in the profession. I aim to use this blog as a platform for meaningful discourse, one that ultimately seeks to improve our shared environments. This endeavor is also, in part, a response to a call for change—a call I’ve heard from fellow designers, and one I feel within myself. A call that we can, and must, do more.

My hope is to create a space where the conversation is not one-sided. I want to hear from you. I’d love to engage with the public and gather genuine feedback on the topics that fascinate me—like urbanism and design’s role in shaping the built environment. I want to understand what works and what doesn’t, what makes life easier, and what complicates it. Design influences our lives in countless ways, often without us even realizing it. From an urbanist’s perspective, I want to examine the process behind the environments we live in—where it started, what has happened, and where it could go. I want everyone to understand the impact they can and should have on shaping these spaces.

I realize I’ve already said more than I planned, but perhaps that that is a good sign for the future. Hopefully, I can communicate these thoughts in a way that resonates with a thoughtful and engaged audience—an audience I hope to build here.
